Joyce Robinson is an amazing woman who just so happened not only to be a Brakeman but also a very successful railroad engineer for Conrail and Norfolk Southern.
She has written books about her journey as a railroad engineer like the "Lady on the Locomotive" and also is active promoting railroad safety to school children. She also has a line of children's books as well.
